Lost
The animation project "Lost" is about a young girl named Lily who finds herself stranded in a mysterious forest after running after. There she meets Wolf. A shapeshifting person who can take the form of a wolf. They must navigate the forest together to get Lily home safely.
Project Overview
Lost was a university animation project where I developed a short film. It was inspired by a novel idea I had drafted, giving me the opportunity to explore visual storytelling, character movement and atmosphere through animation.
Throughout this animation I explored the skills needed to create an animatic and explore the use of colour to support narrative and emotion.
This project has helped strengthen my understanding of the animation process and how important storyboarding is.
